I'm back beybeh.

Read that in Bender's voice, it helps. :)
I'm going to be without internet for a while so I'll be unable to check DA. I'm in a very big rebuilding moment in my life so I'm moving back home. In case anyone comes across my profile and wants to message me or if it's someone I occasionally talk to, I'm sorry I couldn't be here. I wish for happiness and success for everyone in the future. :)
I want to bust this thing open
Break it into a million pieces
Until the galaxy rips open
And I can calmly say
"No, you're not doing this to her."

As lame as it sounds
To go white-knighting around
I would have wanted to save you
From all that has transpired
But now it's too late
I'm just finding out

I guess this is life
Not being able to save everyone
Neither the strangers you pass
Nor the ones you hold close
I feel helpless

I can't say
It'll never happen again
I can only let you know that...
More than I want my own happiness
I want you to never feel this again

I hope my words hold a little meaning
Let my empathy carry enough weight
Let far away hi-fives
And hugs give you embrace
I Saw You Broken, Bloody, and Bruised
I wrote this as a comment for someone on DA and then I melded it into a poem that would serve as a message that could help a lot of people. Even if that works for just one person, haven't I lived a life then? Maybe I can feel a little sense of dignity, a little bit of merit if I do just that.

Someone will come along
In a full suit of armor
Though dingy rusted and hewn

He will chip away at that wall
So newly constructed
Of pain-layered brick
And mortar of despair

Pelted by elements
Sundered by fatigue
With trembling resolve
His strength somehow pulls through

With tempered steps
And a gentle outreach of arm
He will reach you at last

Where his lips meet those tears
Butterflies form and take flight
This sunken prison
Crumbles at long last

Both will come to know
How sun forms in a smile
And clouds under foot
Love will be learned once more
Princess, Please Don't Cry
A spontaneous poem as a response to the lovely fiddlesandfox  poem  Toxins and Tumbles.
In this instance, she was a muse. :)
